Acceptable Use Policy for AI-Generated Content

1. Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to prompts, uploaded references, generated or edited images, illustrations, diagrams, flowcharts, text, public shares, and other content processed through FigEditor. It forms part of the FigEditor Terms of Service and applies to every user and account.

2. Prohibited AI-Generation Categories

You must not use FigEditor to request, create, edit, upload, publish, or distribute content in any of the following categories:

• Pornography, explicit sexual content, or other NSFW content.
• Graphic violence, gore, or content that celebrates or encourages serious physical harm.
• Hate speech or content that attacks, dehumanizes, or incites discrimination or violence against people based on a protected characteristic.
• Child-unsafe content, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexualized depictions of minors, grooming, or exploitation.
• Deceptive deepfakes or impersonation of a real person, including non-consensual intimate imagery and content intended to mislead viewers about identity or authenticity.
• Content that infringes or facilitates infringement of copyright, trademarks, publicity rights, or other intellectual-property rights.

3. Zero-Tolerance Content

FigEditor strictly prohibits content involving CSAM or sexual content involving minors, terrorism or extremist recruitment, instructions for weapons of mass destruction, incitement of genocide or mass violence, and non-consensual sexual deepfakes. We may preserve relevant records and report suspected criminal conduct to appropriate authorities when required or permitted by law.

4. Other Prohibited Conduct

• Using FigEditor for illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, harassing, defamatory, or privacy-invasive activity.
• Generating medical, scientific, legal, or financial claims designed to deceive people or bypass professional review.
• Creating malware, phishing material, spam, cyberattack instructions, or tools intended to harm systems or people.
• Attempting to bypass safety filters, probe restricted categories, conceal prohibited intent, or help another person evade this Policy.
• Uploading confidential, personal, patient, or research data without the authority and lawful basis to process it.
• Reselling access, scraping the service, or interfering with security, availability, or other users.

5. Safety Controls and Review

The AI providers used by FigEditor may apply their own safety controls under their policies. FigEditor reviews user reports and may examine the relevant content and account activity when reasonably necessary to enforce this Policy, respond to a report, prevent harm, or comply with law.

Provider safety controls and human review can make mistakes. A provider may reject a request, and FigEditor may restrict content or an account after reviewing a report. Users may appeal a FigEditor enforcement decision through the channel below.

6. Reporting Violations

Report suspected violations to support@figeditor.ai. Include the relevant URL or project identifier, a description of the concern, and supporting evidence. Do not send or reproduce illegal child-safety material; provide only the information needed to locate it.

We protect reporter information as required by law and prohibit knowingly false or abusive reports.

7. Review and Response

We aim to acknowledge reports within two business days and resolve ordinary reports within seven business days. We prioritize imminent threats, child safety, non-consensual intimate imagery, and other severe risks. Complex cases may take longer, and we may request more information.

8. Enforcement

We consider the content, severity, intent, account history, and risk of harm. Depending on the violation, we may warn the user, block a request, remove or disable content, restrict generation or sharing features, suspend the account, permanently terminate access, reclaim credits connected to abusive activity, preserve evidence, or report conduct to providers or authorities. Severe violations may lead to immediate termination without prior warning.

9. Appeals

If you believe FigEditor acted in error, email support@figeditor.ai from the address associated with your account. Include the project or content identifier, any decision notice you received, and a concise explanation. When practical, a person who did not make the original enforcement decision will review the appeal.

10. Changes and Contact

We may update this Policy as our services, safety controls, or legal obligations change. The revised version will appear on this page with a new update date. Questions and reports may be sent to support@figeditor.ai.
