Data We Collect
- Account and authentication data, including your name, email address, account ID, and sign-in provider.
- Research inputs and service data, including prompts, sketches, reference images, generated files, and project content you submit.
- Billing and credit records, including plan, purchase, transaction, and subscription status. Payment card details are handled by the payment provider, not by FigEditor.
- Technical, usage, and attribution data, such as IP address, browser and device details, pages viewed, referral and campaign parameters, and product events.
- Support messages and information you choose to send us.
How We Use Data
- To create and deliver requested figures, flowcharts, files, accounts, credits, and other service features.
- To authenticate users, prevent fraud and abuse, secure the service, and investigate technical issues.
- To process payments, manage subscriptions and credits, and provide customer support.
- To understand product use and improve the service through analytics when those tools are enabled.
- To comply with applicable law and enforce our terms.
Service Providers and International Transfers
Depending on the feature and payment method you use, data may be processed by AI and infrastructure providers such as OpenRouter and its model providers, KIE, an S3-compatible storage provider, Cloudflare, Stripe, PayPal, PostHog, Plausible, and Google Ads. These providers may process data in countries where they operate. We share only the data needed to provide the relevant service, process payment, protect the service, or measure its use.
Research Inputs and Generated Files
Prompts, sketches, reference images, generated files, and project content may be sent to the model and storage providers needed for the feature you choose. Do not upload confidential, personal, or unpublished research material unless you have the authority to do so and have reviewed the applicable provider terms.
Retention and Account Deactivation
We retain account, billing, and service records for as long as needed to operate the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. Deactivating an account disables sign-in and makes shared creations private, but it does not erase database records or stored files.
Your Privacy Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection. Email support@figeditor.ai to make a request. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information when required for legal, billing, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
Security and Policy Changes
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, but no internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
